Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 makes it easier for you to get information about us. This law, which came into force on 1 January 2005, means that anyone, anywhere can ask for any information we hold.
All you have to do is submit your request in writing, by letter or email, to any member of staff (or use the contact details below) stating clearly what information you want. Please provide a name and address for us to reply to.
Once we receive your request, we must reply in writing, within 20 working days. In our reply, we must confirm whether or not we hold the information, and either provide the information requested or explain why it is not being provided.
We may charge a fee before supplying the information you request. If so, we will write to you giving details of the amount to be paid.
We make a significant amount of information available to the public routinely which means you do not have to make a specific request for it. Details of this information are listed in our Publication Scheme.
